Institute for
Development & Research in Banking Technology [IDRBT], Hyderabad
was established by the Reserve
Bank of India in 1996 as an Autonomous Centre for Development
and Research in Banking Technology. Located in the heart of the
city of Hyderabad, the Institute has in place excellent facilities
and Labs equipped with the most modern infrastructure to aid high
quality Research and Development and for conducting programmes,
seminars and conferences. IDRBT has been recognised
by the University
of Hyderabad (UoH) and the Indian
Institute of Technology, Bombay as a centre for pursuing Research
in the area of Computer Science for Ph.D. students under the external
category. The Research Fellows work at IDRBT in research
projects related to Banking Technology, specifically in the focal
areas of Financial Networks and Applications; Electronic Payments
and Settlement Systems, Security Technologies, Financial Information
Systems and Business Intelligence.
Programmes of IDRBT form an
integral part of the Institute’s Initiatives in aiding
technology absorption in the Banking and Financial Sector. The
focus of our programmes, which include Executive Development
Programmes, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences, is

The National
Institute of Bank Management is a Premier Institution for
Research, Training and Consultancy in the Field of Banking
