Head --- Regional Document Verification Unit ---- East

Work Location Kolkata

Responsibilities
 

  • Required Profile:
  • · 8 to 10 years of experience in the Banking industry
  • · Past experience in heading a large operations unit will be preferred.
  • · Strong knowledge of KYC norms and other regulatory guidelines
  • · Should have managed a large team / multiple units
  • · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • · Should possess strong People/Team Management Skills
  • · Knowledge of ISO, 6-sigma or other quality management methods is an added advantage
  • · Working knowledge of Central Civil Pension and EPFO guidelines would be an added advantage.
  • · Ability to lead processes run on central platforms such as “Salary Upload
  • · Disbursement of Salaries/pensions for corporate customers / Central Civil, Defence and EPFO pensioners.
  • Job Description/KRAs:
  • · Ensure operation standards, Turn around times and delivery of services against SLAs.
  • · Lead leading a team of close to 60 Bank and an equal number of outsourced personnel at the Regional Liability operations setup whose prime responsibility is to ensure accurate, error free and TAT compliant verification of account opening forms.
  • · Liaison with Branches on various issues pertaining to KYC clarifications, implementation of guidelines
  • · Identify training needs and ensure that staff are sent for requisite training programs as well as conduct in-house training sessions
  • · Ensure processes as laid down by Product and internal process groups are implemented and followed
  • · Ensure that necessary checks and controls are in place to avoid any frauds / financial exposures
  • · Monitor and manage performance of the team and its members, mentor and motivate them towards achievement of defined service standards
  • · Regular review of processes and updations to Senior Management on service standards from time to time
  • · Ensuring timely and effective MIS for consumption by Senior Management
  • · Ensure steady pipeline of resources and business continuity
  • · Manage employee satisfaction and attrition
  • · Customer satisfaction evidenced by internal satisfaction surveys
  • · Ensure vision of CPU/RDVU consistent with the strategy of the organisation
  • · Complaint handling and resolution



Requirements
 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Master in Business Admin/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/Post Graduate Program in Management in Others or equivalent.
  • At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Full-Time positions available.
