Indian Bank, one of the public sector banks of India, is planning to hire more than 700 clerks. The bank has made announcement for the current jobs in the time just after the major economic recession all over the world.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued a press note for a phased plan by which IFRS convergence will be achieved in India. While the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has given a phased roadmap for IFRS convergence, progressive companies are trying to get a head start as the convergence process not only requires training people, but also requires accounting software and systems to be changed so they are compatible with new standards.
