| Bank of Maharashtra
will recruit 600 people this year as specialized staff, including
IIM graduates, chartered accountants and cost accountants for
the first time.
State Bank of Hyderabad
will soon hire over 2,000 clerical and supervisory staff as it
plans to add 170 new branches and expand its operations. About
1,500 vacancies are for clerical staff and the rest, officers.
SBI, the parent bank of SBH, will conduct the recruitment. Of
the 170 new branches, 100 would be in rural and semi-urban areas.
Andhra Bank has announced
plans to hire over 1,000 personnel in supervisory and clerical
positions, including 100 marketing staff on contract. Last year,
the bank had recruited over 900 officers and clerks. The bank
is in an expansion mode and will open 110 new branches before
